BVA th350 --> BVM T56
Bon voila je vais me lancer!

(1) The LS1 T56 has no provision for a clutch fork pivot or a "collar" on which the throw-out bearing can ride on the front of the transmission. The LT1 T56 has both.
(2) If you want to use an LS1 T56 with a mechanical linkage behind an SBC, you have two choices:
(a) You can change the front "intermediate" plate of the T56 to one that has a provision for a clutch fork pivot and throwout bearing (McLeod makes one or an LT1 T56 "intermediate" plate would work, if you can find one) and use the McLeod Modular bellhousing, or
(b) You can use a standard Chevy bellhousing (or scattershield) which has the clutch fork pivot and the McLeod adapter kit (adapter plate (with provision for throw-out bearing) and extended pilot bushing).
(3) If you want to use an LT1 T56 with a mechanical linkage behind an SBC, all you need to do is get the LT1 T56 with OEM bellhousing, but you'll need to get a "pull" style flywheel and clutch. I don't favor this approach (as it is much more expensive in the end than the LS1 approach) and won't further address it here.
(4) If you want to use the LS1 T56 with a hydraulic linkage behind an SBC you'll still need to figure out how to mount the transmission to the SBC, as the LS1 T56 bellhousing places the transmission about 0.5" too close to a SBC (creating input shaft/crankshaft interference). (The crankshaft in an LS1 is about 0.5" "deeper" into the engine measured from the bellhousing mounting face than it is in an SBC.) The easist approach here would be to use the factory LS1 bellhousing and buy the required spacer and the hydraulic master cylinder mounting bracket from ATS. Alternatively, you can purchase the McLeod modular bellhousing, but you'll aslo need a 0.5" "scallop" ring from McLeod (both the Modular bellhousing and the scallop ring may be sold as a kit under a given part number).
So, now we've got the T56 mounted behind the SBC, with a provision for our choice of mechanical or hydraulic linkage.
You would then use a standard "push" style flywheel, internally or externally balanced and one or two piece rear main seal depending on your 383's setup. If you're going to use an LS1 pressure plate ("PP"), you'd need to make sure your flywheel will accept it.
If using a mechanical linkage, you can use the PP of your choice. I'm not sure if the LS1 PP uses metric dimensions or not. If it does and your flywhel accepts the LS1 PP that's the easiest way to go. If your flywheel doesn't accept an LS1 PP, then I think (but I'm not sure) any good diaphram PP should be fine. I'd check with the PP manufacturer to make sure the height of the diaphram PP you're using approximates that of an LS1 PP. What you're trying to do is to make sure the hydralic slave cylinder's stroke is sufficient to give you full engagement/disengagement of the PP. You may end up having to shim the slave cylinder if there's not enough stroke.
Then you either complete your mechnical linkage or your hydraulic linkage as appropriate.
All of this information has been discussed many times before in many posts on this board. What you haven't done is to give us any information on your starting point, or answered any of my questions concerning what's in the truck now. We're more than happy to help, but you need to bring something to the party as well.

LS1 T56 adapter to old style bellhousing w/original clutch linkage: 8-207
Extended pilot bushing (accomodates extra 1/2" from adapter): 8617
il y a un article ici :
http://www.chevyhiperformance.com/techa ... sion_swap/
